About WideRiver
WideRiver is a daily AI control center for builders. Instead of scrolling five feeds and a dozen tabs, you get curated news, a rigorous benchmark comparison, and technical writing in one place you can scan in seconds.
Who it's for
Developers, engineers, and technical founders who build with AI and need to stay current without it becoming a second job. If you want to know which model actually leads on a benchmark, what shipped this week, and why it matters — this is built for you. It assumes you're technical and skips the hand-holding.
What makes it different
The goal is signal over noise. Three things set WideRiver apart:
- Curated, not comprehensive. We filter for what builders actually need, so a two-minute scan keeps you oriented.
- Benchmark rigor. Scores come from official releases and research, monitored for changes — not vibes or vendor marketing.
- Honest about scope. Everything on the site is either live or clearly marked as coming. We'd rather ship a smaller thing that works.
How it works
The news feed refreshes automatically every day at 14:00 UTC (mid-morning US Eastern); benchmarks are checked daily and updated when the underlying sources change. Here's where the content comes from:
